After breaking through the roadblocks scattered all around, Joey joins Professor Denton and Psy as they continue their flight from the NIA and their journey to Nevada.
Of course, evading one simple roadblock doesn't mean that they've won their freedom, although it does put the government agency hunting for these fugitives on the back foot until one of them makes a mistake that reveals their location.
Naturally, that doesn't take very long, with Joey deciding to give Lina a call to let her know that he's okay - A call which is soon traced to the supermarket he's phoning from, sending both the NIA and Doctor Minami in pursuit. Despite their best attempts to evade their pursuers and lose them again, you can't outrun helicopters and massed government forces forever, and by the time this episode closes out both Denton and Psy are captured, and things aren't exactly looking rosy for our hero boy either...
After a rather slow start to this episode and the threat that this whole fugitive business would drag out for too long, things certainly picked up for the second half of the episode as we got a little more Heroman action, and of course the scenario as it is left come the end of the instalment makes things far more interesting indeed - Just what is the next step for our protagonist? Perhaps predictably (as is true of so much of HEROMAN, no matter how mindlessly entertaining), all is not as it seems when it comes to who is friend and who is foe.
