Episode thirteen of Real Drive sees Haru and Minamo take the day off - Which is wonderful, I feel really happy for you guys, but for God's sake don't take us with you!
Rather than any semblance of an actual plot, this episode was almost entirely flashback central, with Haru remembering his childhood and youth through rose-tinted glasses while suitably cheesy montage music played throughout. Quite frankly, it added nothing to the show's main storylines, or particularly to Haru's character, which I already feel like we know pretty well already. Oh, and I really hope he isn't hitting on Minamo like you could easily think he is... That's just wrong.
Honestly, I can't think of anything else to say about this episode aside from a little nod of recognition for the opening scene with Haru, Minamo and the wasp, which was hilarious (although I'm not even sure whether I was supposed to be laughing) - Even for a series that has indulged in far too much filler already, this was some kind of uber-filler, guaranteed to fill even the biggest, toughest to reach script writing holes. The Beatles posited on how many holes it would take to fill the Albert Hall, now we know how many episodes of Real Drive it would take to fill them.
