I would've given the Japanese a break if they ever owed up to the war crimes they committed during WWII, and if the series didn't have girly-men or promote rather than poke fun at stereotypes. So typical of a spiteful, self-loathing, hypocritical people.KeyserSozenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2323543890331313328.post-50340777573337249452010-01-01T13:31:16.718+00:002010-01-01T13:31:16.718+00:00I just finished watching the first episode of Lege...I just finished watching the first episode of Legend of Koizumi! The same political premise but 3x more interesting and hilarious. Only 6 minutes of an episode but I lol'ed for all six.JWnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2323543890331313328.post-87934966965985367362009-12-31T04:48:10.699+00:002009-12-31T04:48:10.699+00:00I'm a Hetalia webcomic fan, and... yeah, prett...I'm a Hetalia webcomic fan, and... yeah, pretty much agree with the post and the other comment.

I mean, each webcomic has the author notes explaining the historical contents and everything, but the anime is just so... random. Goddamn it, I want to like this too. It's easy to miss so many of the historical connections because half the time you have no idea at what point in history you are meant to be.

I want to like this show because the idea behind it is really rather interesting. But the execution is baffling and frustrating.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
